Lou Chikuni (FKA Perfect Marvel) is a Hip hop Artist whose music reflects his strong faith in God and a desire to reach people with the message of hope found in the gospel. Against a soundscape varying from vintage Boom Bap to new school, Lou seeks to meet the audience right where they're at and engage them with truth.

Born in Malawi yet travelling the world with his parent's, Marvel (as he was known back then) became captivated with the infectious sounds of 90's rap and he found his lane after hearing Artists like a Tribe called Quest, Gangstarr,Common and Rakim to name a few. This brand of intelligent, conscious, and even fun yet thoughtful music became the foundation of his style.

While based in London,Lou had the pleasure of performing alongside top Uk hip hop acts and touring with the legendary Kurtis Blow as part of the tour for Askillz and Krafty Kuts critically acclaimed album Trickatechnology. He is also a former member of Malawi's pioneering rap group, Real elements which achieved many firsts in the local hip hop scene there and opened doors for other talented artists.

According to God's plan the group later disbanded and this lead him down a path of soul searching once one of the other members,David kalilani gave his life to Christ. It would be years later when Lou finally yielded to God's call and Began walking with Christ as well.

Now based in Maryland,U.S.A Lou seeks opportunites to share his faith through music and give hope to a broken world desperately in need of a savior.
